MAYA-EL We all always have assumptions.
But logic itself demonstrates method.
For instance, the Compton effect shows photons (or light) imparting momentum.
Its en empirical and observable phenomenon that is not disputed.
So too is the formula p=mv, not disputed and observable.
But if we assume (for the sake of argument) that both of those are verified
science, then we MUST conclude as a matter of logic that the photon (or light)
has to have mass. And we can even calculate what the mass of the photon must be.
(use m=p/C from p=mv, where p=momentum, m=mass, and v=C as the speed of light)
Yes, we could decide to disagree with the 2 premises.
But as a matter of methodology, IF we accept the premises, then we MUST
conclude that the photon has mass - which again, is contrary to Einstein.
Of course we could decide that a photon is defined as having no mass,
in which case we have a semantic debate as to what the fundamental unit
of light should be called. But we have to carefully separate the semantic
decision of what is a label, from the logic of the methodology.
------------
Another example is the famous "double slit experiment" which is quite
easily demonstrated to have false methodology here:
www.flight-light-and-spin.com/virtual/experiment.htmIt should not take a great deal of consideration to see how bad
academia is as regards logic and method. But our assumption is
that academics care about logic. They seldom do. They care mostly
about how much money they can acquire from the trough of funding.
But again if the monetary system is illogical, it must eventually
collapse into a terrible tragedy. Every day the world gets worse,
and the next world war looms larger because of these matters.
So its about honest ethic at core. Without honest ethic, science,
logic, society, economics, all of it crashes and burns like it
has so many times before.
So when I show people yet again how bad academia is, and it just
gets ignored, or people say "thats your thing, I am waiting to
get MY thing and its UNFAIR how you keep making all these
discoveries and we do not".
The its because they care about themselves, and all I try and
do is help others reach understanding no matter how hateful
and jealous they get. Its Christian ethic at the center.
So I am crucified for truth.
Again.
