Siluk: It probably could get to a point where it can simulate something like that. Like you said with aging. But as for me I really think time is beyond us. Unless a miracle happens. May 3, 2021 22:46:20 GMT
Elizabeth Avatar
Elizabeth: Yes, exactly. I also read up a lot on aging. There's now a machine you sit inside of and it changes your skin/cells. Testing has been done on old people so far May 4, 2021 5:03:24 GMT

Lone Wanderer: Testing Vivaldi... My Firefox does not work properly since I updated it to version 88. It behaves strangely; e.g. opening a specific website is 50-50 now. So I looked for a Chromium-based alternative and I find Vivaldi. I use Vivaldi until I find a fix. May 5, 2021 7:27:06 GMT *
Lone Wanderer Avatar
Lone Wanderer: And it's strange... I deleted Firefox cache and disabled most add-ons (extensions) and the issue is still there. Maybe I should wait for upcoming updates. Don't know what has happened to my browser. Even "Refresh Firefox" didn't help. :| May 6, 2021 4:45:10 GMT *
Elizabeth Avatar
Elizabeth: Then it wasn't firefox! May 6, 2021 13:37:20 GMT
Elizabeth Avatar
Elizabeth: Computer breaking down maybe or needs an update? May 6, 2021 13:37:47 GMT
Lone Wanderer Avatar
Lone Wanderer: It's Firefox for sure. It's broken now. I tested several other browsers and they work like a charm. e.g. Firefox can't open Arktos and several other websites but the other browsers open them without any issue. May 6, 2021 18:14:29 GMT
Lone Wanderer Avatar
Lone Wanderer: So that's the reason why I'm confused about the things that broke my Firefox. Anyway, I wait for the updates. Plus I found a cool and new browser named Vivaldi. Currently I'm using it. Vivaldi is much better than other Chromium-based browsers. May 6, 2021 18:16:44 GMT
Lone Wanderer Avatar
Lone Wanderer: "Brave" (another web browser) looks promising too and I may use it in the future. Vivaldi is what I need. It's a mix of Chrome + good old Opera. But in the end, Firefox is my main web browser. I can't abandon that thing. It a part of my digital life. May 6, 2021 18:22:08 GMT
Elizabeth Avatar
Elizabeth: You know way more browsers than me May 7, 2021 3:03:54 GMT
Lone Wanderer Avatar
Lone Wanderer: Dozens of them... From the popular ones to lesser-known browsers. May 8, 2021 4:27:30 GMT
Elizabeth Avatar
Elizabeth: There are over a dozen? Geez. I was thinking like 8 at the most. Why are so many needed? May 8, 2021 5:50:41 GMT
Lone Wanderer Avatar
Lone Wanderer: Because each one of them has its own features. See them - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_web_browsers May 8, 2021 5:59:16 GMT
Elizabeth Avatar
Elizabeth: But aren't the only features really needed is to get on a website basically? May 9, 2021 0:32:28 GMT
Lone Wanderer Avatar
Lone Wanderer: Web browsers are similar to cars. Why people choose and buy different cars? Each browser has something unique to offer. e.g. Firefox has very good features for managing bookmarks. Some web browsers have built-in VPN or Ad-blocker or strong privacy features May 9, 2021 5:35:34 GMT *
