I didn't, of course. But anyone here? Or maybe even been through a war in your country?

Faith in God. It was either die for freedom and justice, or live an evil life, because I chose the former, I now live a free and just life, and my country was saved from civil war. Although, the annoying bit is how they seem to resent the gift God gave me to give to them. So you're religious? What religion do you follow? I have spoken with John the Baptist and Christ, but they did not instruct me in anything other than ethics. It was their sheer presence that had the real impact. I consider myself a Mystic Christian. I accept reincarnation even into and from animals and other worlds.

And what got you believing in reincarnation?

The first time, John and I had a very long and deep conversation about cosmology. Then he woke me up one morning because I was feeling down and out. That was 22 years later. Then Christ spoke to me as I was worried about evil in the world. Then on the last occasion they both were with me. One on either side, they baptized my spirit; I relived the crucifixion, and also John's death too. That was all in 2006, except the first visit.

I had a neighbor like you, except she claimed to have met Methuselah, a year later she tried breaking into the white to meet Donald Trump. The secret service shown up at my neighbors over the incident...
I am skeptical of people with "visions". I am skeptical of people who form judgments on the basis of just a few words. Are you the type of person who refutes that which you have not experienced? Are you envious of others if they have experiences you have not had? Yes there are many people who pretend, perhaps even most do so. But that is true in every walk of life.

Like God?" John laughed, "No, but close. I am John". I was studying psychology at the time and thought I was talking to my own "higher self", because 'Jon' is my name. At no point did any of them mention the Bible either. For years I did not make up my mind as to what the experience was all about. I changed majors to Psych and Phil from Eng and Ling to try and make sense of it. Only after the second visit did I realize what it was all about. Sorry I erred earlier. The dates were 1993 and then 2006 - 13 years apart. As he was leaving on the 2nd occasion he said to me 'pour honey for me'. That's when I realized who it was. I poured out honey into the dust for him that night. It was as real as this conversation is here.

It was as real as this conversation is here. So did this make you read the bible and follow Christ? Not immediately. I first analyzed it profusely. In the end, after years of contemplation I realized it was as real as anything. It was quite strange, because I was quite captivated by pagan myths and took archetypal philosophy quite seriously - I'm still like that. So if it was a subconscious aspect of my mind, I would have been talking to Thor or Poseidon. I was never moved by the Christian church at all - quite put off by those who I have come to realize are called sacramentarians - not true believers who use religion to further their material gains. Christ seemed quite sad. Without saying anything I reckon he was hoping I would help to resurrect Christianity from all the wrong things that are done in its name. This motivates my every move - is at the core of my Cosmology and astrophysics thesis. and I believe that my work is destined to be far greater than my life. Even if it only gains recognition after I pass on. I do it for the future - for what is beyond this life. Probably I'll benefit from it in my future lives. The bible makes no argument against reincarnation, btw, and neither John nor Jesus made a point against it at all. I have always accepted it, so their acceptance of me is an acceptance of reincarnation.

Will be great to see more of your perceptive in philosophy and religion sections here especially

I am skeptical of people who form judgments on the basis of just a few words. A few words yes, but the issue is one of experience with those who had visionsAre you the type of person who refutes that which you have not experienced? Refuting a visionary because of experiences with them has little to do with religion or no religion? Are you envious of others if they have experiences you have not had? Whose said I have not had those experiences? Who is judging based on a few words now?Yes there are many people who pretend, perhaps even most do so. But that is true in every walk of life. I was not judging, I was asking a question. Have you had such experiences then? As it is, I have no problem with judgement, only when it is on the basis of little info especially when there is ample room for more inquiry first. I'm curious about your neighbor though. What was her vision about to get the black-helicopters involved?

She tried breaking into the white house to tell the president something "important". She has a history of adultery, theft, etc. The secret service showed up in response to her actions.
The area I live in is...how to word it...."wacked out"....I have more stories I can count and half most people would not believe...I am if I even believe some of them.
Yes, I have had many of those experiences but none qualified me nor promoted a necessity of spreading a specific message.
Its interesting that we reach this topic in the thread on war, because it seems to me that one needs to have one foot on the other side of the line between life and death to be able to communicate with entities on the other side of that line. And that it was after I volunteered for a solo suicide mission (and survived) that I became available to such experiences.
