Me personally no but my father and and grandfather fought in the bosnian war. They were in the Army of Republic of Srpska. They fought together and won many battles such as defending Ozren from a huge attack ftom the so called Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I too wish i fought for my country but i was bourn later. Shame. Are they both living still today?

No. Although, with the current situation in Europe I do see it happen at some point... A civil war is unavoidable. There is many things I would fight for if it needs to be.

A civil war seems unlikely, why do you believe this will happen? We have millions of people in Europe who want to fight the unbelievers and want to turn Europe into the Dar-al-Islam. There is other millions who do not want this, but indirectly supporting terrorism or tolerating it.

I almost enlisted in Operation Iraqi Freedom. I was turned down because of vision problems and other things I'd rather not discuss although I think I heard a few recruiters mumble something to the effect of something about "antisemitism" this was back in 2001.

I didn't, of course. But anyone here? Or maybe even been through a war in your country? Yes. I volunteered for a solo suicide mission to destroy what I could of the apartheid conscription process back in Feb of 1990 in South Africa. After 3 days, they caved in, and the end of conscription began. I still think, sometimes, that I might be a ghost in limbo. It was all so psychological, clinical, and the only casualty was my future income, job prospects, relationships and a fair amount of my sanity (I wasn't all that sane to begin with). A small price to pay when one considers all the other possible outcomes.

Faith in God. It was either die for freedom and justice, or live an evil life, because I chose the former, I now live a free and just life, and my country was saved from civil war. Although, the annoying bit is how they seem to resent the gift God gave me to give to them.

I’ve been apart of military operations and campaigns, but never been in an actual war zone or been shot at.

Not in a war, but in an operation. I served for 3 years.
