Did anyone know that Czechoslovakia tried to conquer Mexico and Central America in the XX Century? as they obviously failed, how do you think they could actually succeed?

Need to be max correct in this matter! Czechoslovakia was part of the Warsaw Pact countries! And they could conquer the whole of America if they wanted it!

yeah...but they tried to do this in 1924, not during the Warsaw Pact period, in 1944 they only sent weapons the Guatemalan revolutionaries

In 1924 the Czechoslovak Minister of Foreign Affairs installed the first embassy of the country in Mexico City and saw the possibility to conquer Central America, starting with Guatemala, using the excuse of some troubles with he heritage of some wealthy woman who died in that country and its government wasn't unable to solve it, so the Czechoslovaks planned to start to establish consulates in the Central American countries. The plan started by sending Czechoslovaks to Guatemala to establish the colonies, but it didn't work since they couldn't even pass thru the Mexican border due to they didn't fix some papers in their visas, so they had to stay in Mexico City. I know it's a shitty story but it was funny and that's why I wanted to know what others could thought about it. |
