Did anyone know that Czechoslovakia tried to conquer Mexico and Central America in the XX Century? as they obviously failed, how do you think they could actually succeed?

Well dude maybe it's not my fault that this part of history is not a history at all.Otherwise you might have been able to provide some details. You now like, names of people, names of projects, places, quote some of your sources.Anything.That's how history usually works. ok, you could ask for that before. In 1924 the Czechoslovak Minister of Foreign Affairs installed the first embassy of the country in Mexico City and saw the possibility to conquer Central America, starting with Guatemala, using the excuse of some troubles with he heritage of some wealthy woman who died in that country and its government wasn't unable to solve it, so the Czechoslovaks planned to start to establish consulates in the Central American countries. The plan started by sending Czechoslovaks to Guatemala to establish the colonies, but it didn't work since they couldn't even pass thru the Mexican border due to they didn't fix some papers in their visas, so they had to stay in Mexico City. I know it's a shitty story but it was funny and that's why I wanted to know what others could thought about it. Ok,that's something. Not really convincing though but at least you tried. Even so,the details are scarce.Barely anything relevant.U see, suporting your own imigration in foreign country is not an intication of a planed invasion. And it was not uncommon for europeans to go to American continent seeking for work. Some of them would settle down, but most of them would return home with the money they earned. And if you didn't confuse Czehoslovakia with some other country on a map,It should've been obvious that a landlocked country of such small size in 1924 couldn't possibly maintain an empire.Even if they tried to become a regional hegemony it would've been obviously next to impossible.
