Russia Wanted Trump As President And It Got Him. Now What Does America Do? ,HuffPost• November 22, 2017 On Jan. 6, 2017, the U.S. intelligence community released a declassified version of its analysis finding that Russian President Vladimir Putin had not only interfered in the 2016 election, but had actively tried to help Trump. Among the tools Russia used was the theft of emails from the campaign of Trump’s opponent, Hillary Clinton, and their release through Russia-friendly WikiLeaks. Trump campaign foreign policy aide George Papadopoulos detailed in filings associated with his guilty plea agreement how Russians in April 2016 were offering the campaign emails damaging to Clinton. Emails between the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., and a former business partner show that the younger Trump was eager to see the supposedly incriminating information in advance of a Trump Tower meeting. Trump Jr. later traded messages with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange about his father’s exploitation of emails stolen from Clinton campaign chair John Podesta. On Oct. 12, 2016, after Assange suggested that the GOP nominee help publicize the latest batch of stolen emails, Trump himself sent a tweet praising WikiLeaks just 15 minutes later. On May 9, 2017, after three months of complaining about the FBI’s Russia probe, Trump fired the agency’s director, James Comey. The reason initially stated was that Comey had mishandled an investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server during her time as secretary of state. But the very next day, Trump reportedly told Russia’s foreign minister and its U.S. ambassador during an Oval Office visit that he’d fired Comey to block the probe. Trump again cited the Russia investigation as a reason for firing Comey in an interview with NBC News on May 11. That firing led quickly to Mueller’s appointment to take over the investigation. www.yahoo.com/news/russia-wanted-trump-president-got-100030401.html

Trumps a lot better for a stable world than the goofballs that preceded him. Hilary probably topped the list for goofballs. I really dont know why the woman gets so worked up over a post Soviet Russia which is now capitalist. The woman needed to fail for being so stupid.

Who said that Russia wanted Trump? Provide the evidence for that statement. Putin speaks a lot, so it should be easy to find it.

Meh, Putin didn't need to interfere in the American election to get Trump elected. Trump elected thanks to his program, in which he beautifully criticized his predecessor ! Nothing more!

Truth of 2016 president election
The core is to help Trump to grab the president power. The mastermind is the FBI. Russian is only a scapegoat hired to get the thing done.
Clinton is victim but has been targetted by the FBI
Hillary's email was hacked. She is a victim. Russian (or the FBI) is the thief. But in this election the FBI attacked Clinton all the way to help their candidate Trump to steal the president seat.

The 'Russian Hack' is complete nonsense engineered by the Clinton-friendly Deep State, who've managed to hold some sway still over Trump. This isn't a partisan issue, it's the establishment against the people. If Russia truly had Trump in their pocket, he wouldn't be making moves like recognizing Jerusalem as the Isaeli capital. This only furthers tensions in the Middle East, especially with Russian allies like Syria and Iran.

Hillary Clinton would have caused a confrontation with a nuclear-capable Russia and Vladimir Putin knew it. The pragmatic thing to do was to use the tools at Russia's disposal to assist a pragmatist in getting elected, and in so doing, likely avoided a nuclear showdown and a lose/lose world incident.

Trump has suggested that sanctions against Russia could be dropped if and only if there is enough agreement on other issues, and so far, the sanctions are still in place. Trump even signed new sanctions. Trump's intentions to drop the sanctions have so far not been realized in any way as far as I know, and the Russians haven't been expecting any progress in that direction either. The big international relations picture is the main reason why Russia is largely indifferent. It could even be argued that Clinton was preferrable to Russia.

Trump is simply under strong pressure from Congress! As for Clinton, I'm sure this woomen would have continued all the adventures of Obama.

Trump's election has unfortunately broken what would have been a continuous chain of secession. Hillary Clinton would have been the first female president of the United States. With Obama, the first black president of the US, a certain group of people thought they could get another one of their degenerate 'trends' going. Trump's election as president has put an axe through their plans. As for Trump's election, it was the American people who cast the final vote, not Vladimir Putin. The American population have democratically elected their president, and now they are trying to reverse the process of democracy that they have held so dear over these years.
