"Tell me about your marriage."
I'm not married. Tell me about yours, wait, don't. It’s probably a miserable marriage. You know, you’d think someone who claims to be right all the time and have all the right answers wouldn’t be so miserable
"So the girl you are with, her family never had any influence over her what so ever. One can just ignore the family the girl comes from."
You said "you marry the girl you marry the family", and now you're switching over to influence via child rearing. When you marry a woman you marry her. You don't make a vow to her family, you make it to her, and her to you.
"Your hatred for Catholics, and your seemingly "Ill interpret religion according to how I want" attitude...is well...just religious relativism. I don't judge you, I get it...twisting and turning a statement to fit what you want...I have just seen better. Tell me when you open your own denomination.
"
Hatred? Where did I express hatred toward anyone? I would say you're more full of hatred than anyone else here on this forum. Seemingly, yes, according to someone who doesn't understand what the Bible says through simple reading comprehension it would
seem that I'm making my own interpretation. No, it isn't what I want the Bible to say, it's what it says, and I didn't write it. Sure you judge me, you judge me all the time, you judge me by my fruits that seem to know so much about even though you have no clue who I am or what I've done. Your only source of information is this forum and information on this forum is too insufficient for you to make any conclusion about anyone. Actions are what make a person, so when you judge a person's actions you judge them. So, while you advocate "judge not" you're literally pulling the ol' "do as I say, not as I do".
"Actually learning what is not true provides negative information that shows what not to pursue."
You haven't figured out what not to pursue yet?
"So...you are not everyone? You appear to keep generalizing that all my statements are generalities."
No, I'm not everyone. And no I'm not generalizing that all your statements are generalities, just a good amount of them.
"Me sucking you into the conversation only proves I am the storm tossing about what I will. So...stability...nice work...real "strong" and err...."meaningingful"... word. Tell me about your stable life...religious rebel."
I'm actually bored. You have no control over anything here. I'm only talking to you because I want to, not because you want me to. Or, you can flatter yourself more, you like to do that.
My life is fine... hey bro quit judging me bro.
"Rationalization is force, and you rationalize scripture according to your will...tell me about your work with the homeless, or sick family members, or your wife you have been loyal to all your life and have children with. I get it...the bible is your weapon...but other people claim "x" book, such as the Koran, Torah, or Bagavadghita is divinely inspired also...What seperates your scripture from theres?
"
No it isn't, and no I don't. I'm not here to boast about my works, but if you want to know for the sake of knowing I'll share a couple; I've fed the poor and helped my aunt that has cancer. I'm not married
but even in all my relationships I've always been loyal. Yes, the Bible is my sword. The Torah is in the Bible
and I don't care what people claim about the Koran or the Hindu book. When I asked God from my heart to show me the truth He showed me the Bible, not any other book or religion.
"What seperates your scripture from theres?" One only has to read
"That is my point...which Christians...or maybe better put what Christians."
Have you met every single person that calls themself a Christian face to face, seen everything they do and have done, and read their minds and their hearts?
"I read the whole thing, you interpret which verse that supports you viewpoint and this leads to hell. Besides, if everything is being cast to hell by God...according to you...destruction is a necessary evil."
Well you clearly don't understand it. When then tell me smart guy, what did Jesus mean when He said "For many are called, but few are chosen." in the context? Everything? No. I never said that, and neither does the Bible. The Bible says the world will be judged by God, and God's judgments are righteous.
"And if they interpret it differently than you do you claim they are not Christian....it is an infinitely regressive logic."
No, if they don't have the correct interpretation, they may or may not be a Biblical Christian. Not all misinterpretations are damnable. You're making me a standard for whatever reason, probably an attempt to discredit me and make me seem like a cult leader or something. Nobody follows me, and I don't want anyone to follow me. And I'm not the only one who interprets the Bible for what it says.
"I am describing the Church that exists today...well regardless....God is not a respecter of person's....so what gives you authority to preach?"
There are many churches. There's the catholic church, the orthodox church, the anglican church, the church of England, the pentecostal church, the charismatic church, the baptist church, the methodist church, the presbyterian church, the nazarene church, the calvinist church, the arminian church, etc. and they all have divisions within themselves.
what? Do you know what that means? God is not a respecter of persons as in it doesn't matter if you're poor, rich, blind, deaf, big, small, black, white, yellow, red, blue, purple, Greek, British, German, Russian, American, Chinese, male, female, etc. He isn't going to favor one person over the based on superficial traits. I'm commanded by God to preach and spread the gospel.
"Tell me the morality of genetic engineering based on scripture...then tell me it is not your interpretation."
Manipulating what God created is not why God put man on earth, man is here to be the caretaker of God's creation, not manipulator of God's creation. Manipulating God's creation is an obvious gesture of rebellion.
"You claim I generalize, but isn't "Christians are those which follow the bible" a generality you judge other's buy?"
You do generalize. No, because that's what the Bible says Christians are. God is the judge. His word, the Bible, judges for us. I didn't know who was and wasn't a Christian before I read the Bible.
"Uhh...focusing on the sales...what other "experience" do you have?"
Oh, this is about me? But you like talking about yourself so much. Well, I have mechanic experience, military experience, and farming experience to name some. Not at all proud, just things I decided to do for work.
"So you make up your interpretations since the bible, according you, is the book of life?"
Nope, I don't make up interpretations. No, the Bible isn't the book of life, that's a separate book that nobody has access to but God, according to the Bible.
