Funniness is just making the truth palatable. Myth's were created in order for the common person to understand the truth without going mad...it is the same for humor. I am still confused how laughing at your funniness is anger. Laughing is positive feeling while anger is negative feeling. Hmm Laughter is placing oneself above a situation as they look down upon it....laughter is just repressed despair. Honestly, I think you are just faking the laughter...because what I say makes most here uncomfortable. Nervous laughter is probably a better guess. I mean let's face the honest facts, if I point out the way things are it makes people uncomfortable...why? Because it points out the obvious truth most people's lives are stagnant and pathetic. What you are doing wrong is by leading men on you place them in a compromising situation for sinning by dragging them along and providing a sense of temptation....what you don't believe half the guys you date for an extended period of time didn't say "Yes dear, whatever you say dear" then go home and paint their walls in semen? I think most of the attempts are just funny    ...I know...the absurdity of what you say half the time...well... . What is really funny, for me, is how easily it is to draw people into a conversation they percievable think is below them or untrue. However. I don't think it is a question of being offended (I mean most of the men think you are weak crying girl that can't protect herself, it is really sad how they view you)...but rather a question of resonation. I say "x" and people seem to revolve around it with "y", "z" etc. I mean let's face the fact, I present a set of arguments or statements and everyone freak out and tries to convince themselves it is funny. The thread was started around me, by forum members, because I was talking about the absurdities of modern relationships. It makes alot of people uncomfortable...and quite frankly all this banter gives a pleasant distraction from the work I am on. |
