Christianity and Judaism have common roots, but a complex history of relationships! Let's discuss these contradictions!

Yeah. God gave Moses the commandments on 2 stone tablets. I don't disagree that we don't follow that. Or what are you asking? But I'm saying they were still stoning people in New Testament until Jesus came to stop them. What I am saying is that stoning people was never part of the covenant. Jesus was trying to restore the covenant, not overturn it. It is Judaism that was violating the covenant by twisting it and being too legalistic. It is worth trying to actually understand why there was stoning at that time. Consider Deuteronomy 22:22 which says "If a man is discovered having relations with another man’s wife, both the man who had sex with the woman and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel." The reasoning is given as "You must purge the evil from Israel." The reason for stoning was not revenge or deterrence. It was simply to get rid of the person. Why not send them into exile, you might ask. Because then they will join the enemy and come back to harm Israel. Prison was not an option at that time. So the death penalty was literally the only way to remove the person from Israel, and that is why it was needed. Today we have alternatives like prison. I am not mentioning this because this was part of the covenant, it wasn't. I am mentioning this because everything in the Old Testament makes sense if you give it enough thought. God gave rules that made sense for the time and gave basic explanations for those interested in the reasoning. Judaism started going seriously wrong about 100 years before Jesus with Hillel who is the founder of Talmudic thought. Jesus tried to fix this. I think Jesus got what he wanted to some degree in the Reformation from the late 1500s to the late 1800s. But modern Christianity is a complete disaster and I am sure that Jesus would hate it. But God taught lamb sacrifices. So if not needed then why was it done? And Christianity is a big disaster, yes. Some have never even read the whole scripture. Sigh

The whole problem is that Jesus preached the Kingdom of Heaven, and not the earthly ... the Jews according to the Talmud are waiting for the Mashiach who will give them power in this world -from sea to sea, from river to river!-

The truth was not fully revealed until Jesus appeared - no one has ever seen God; Only-begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He manifested- John 1:18

But was christ really a talmudic jew? As far as I know, he was against the things which the israeli people were doing, and started scolding them for not adhering to the commandments of GOD, I think 10 in number, and this turned out to be the reason for his persecution.
In fact, many jews hate jesus, that's what I have studied.

Even though the Talmud was written down later, the Talmudic movement started with Hillel and was called the Pharisees at that time.
