Let's say that A reports B something. A expects B will act in a way S.
From the point of view of B what A had reported to B was that B should do S`.
But B thought in other way, so trying to be disagree with A, B acts like S.
In other words, what we do is not necessary the direct result of previous expectations.
Not understanding each other we still can do things like we understand each other.
By that logic we just can remove that word 'understanding'.
Actually our actions may be like written roles for us in some sort of a play.
As Shakespeare said that everything is a theater, and we're all actors in it.
Here's the same, we're puppets in someone's play; and we aren't able to verify it.
