Given the sheer size of universe and how much older the other galaxies are. There is potential of current interstellar travels and being observed by extra terrestrial.
In future humans will extract unlimited energy. Travel to galaxies. Achieve immortality by seperating the energy from the body.

Unlimited? I don't know, but I doubt about it.
Let's say we've got a line AB, and the rule that for any AC or CB, where C belongs to AB, there's always a variable X such that either X belongs to AC or CB. (And we can keep the process by adding D, then E, etc as newer dots.)
The bad point is that it doesn't really matter how many inner lines (e.g. AC, CD, DE...) we will get, the sum of AC+CD+DE+... will be the same as AB. In other words, we don't expand, except for having a formalization.
I think we can have as much energy as we've got now. All what we're doing wrong is using it falsely or in a bad way. It doesn't mean that the current usage is the worst, but it doesn't mean we can't do better.
