Greater Albania: a United States project against the Orthodox world?
Wednesday, December 5, 2012, the Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha advocated granting Albanian citizenship to all Albanians, wherever they reside. This statement was made during a visit of the city of Vlora where the independence of the Albanian state was declared, only 100 years ago. At the time Albania had just liberated itself from Ottoman rule.
This declaration follows a separate statement, collective this time, that Sali Berisha had made with his Kosovar counterpart Hashim Thaci a few weeks ago, promising the union of all Albanians. The place was, I must say, well chosen since the vast majority of the inhabitants of Kosovo today are of Albanian origin, which has not always been the case.
During the Balkan War in 1913, Serbs still constitute the majority of the population. In 1941, Kosovo is attached to the Greater Albania (already) fascist Italian protectorate. After the war, Tito would prohibit Albanian immigration since Yugoslavia, according to him, could be strong only if Serbia were as weak as possible. In 1974, it is he who attributes to Kosovo autonomous province status which would be removed by Slobodan Milosevic in 1989, while the Serbs already composed no more than 15% of the population.
When in 2008 Kosovo declares independence, nearly a decade after the Western military intervention, few commentators call attention to the dominant "Albanity" of this new small state. On the contrary, it is a time of real celebration for that supposedly oppressed people who finally gained freedom. In most Western countries and the European Union, the recognition is instantaneous, without any question being raised about the treatment of the Serb minority and the future that awaited it, despite the terrible precedent of 2004, when Christians were victims of pogroms, burned down churches, and the violation of their most basic human rights. It is true that Europe, sorry the European Union, at that time had other priorities: the essential organization of gay pride in Belgrade.
It took only 4 years for the farce of Kosovo’s independence to finally emerge publicly. Only 4 years for the Albanian Prime Minister to prove the Serb nationalists right when they consistenly maintained that it was not Kosovars (the inhabitants of the Kosovo region being Serbs) they were facing but well and truly Shqiptars, in a new episode of the ancient conflict in the Balkans that has pitted for nearly 6 centuries the Orthodox Slavs against the sons of the Ottoman Empire converts.
In October 1999, the U.S. General and NATO Supreme Commander Wesley Clark (far right) meets with the head of the UN mission in Kosovo, Bernard Kouchner (second from left), and KLA leader Hashim Thaci (far left). Today, as Prime Minister of Kosovo, Thaci is accused in a report of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to have participated in the trafficking of organs taken, inter alia, from Serb prisoners by men of the KLA.
Western support for the creation of Kosovo and hostility against Serbia may seem completely inexplicable. Yet from 1991 to 2008, U.S. strategists have been led by a single logic: the destruction of Serbia, to debilitate her as much as possible for the inevitable historical moment in the future when she would again turn to Russia.
Of course, it was necessary at the same time to also devitalize Russia. If, from 1991 to 2000, a military and media war was waged against Milosevic’s Serbia with the aim of annihilating it, an economic and moral war was being unleashed against Yeltsin’s Russia. The crusade against the communist world has turned into a crusade against the Orthodox world, and essentially against its most sovereign political nerve center: Russia.
The theoretician of Russia’s containment in Eurasia, Zbigniew Brzezinski, said himself in 2007 that "After the collapse of the USSR, the main enemy of the USA will be the Russian Orthodox Church." The creation of Greater Albania can probably be seen in this historical and geostrategic light. It is like tossing a new match, one that could create a spark and start a new fire in the Balkan inferno. This fire would result in the further weakening of Europe, but also deepen the destabilization of the Orthodox world (Macedonia, Greece, Montenegro, Serbia ...) and curb its rapprochement with Russia. Indirectly, it is Russia’s influence in Eastern Europe that would be challenged, and therefore its rapprochement with Western Europe. In doing so, the United States would once again achieve their primary objective: to prevent a rapprochement between continental Europe and the Catholic and Orthodox worlds.

Διαμονδ the Albanians in Macedonia are muslims and the Macedonians are orthodox Christians, if Albanians didn't show signs of radical islam maybe we'd have better relations. I think religion is the biggest problem between us. In the past Macedonians and Albanians fought against Serbian occupation (1913-1939) but after our independence from Yugoslavia they always seemed like they are not satisfied. They even started a war about that in 2001 claiming that they fought for human rights but it was a lie. They wanted a second Kosovo situation here. To be honest, the Albanians in Albania are different and more civilized. The only extremists ones are the muslims. And I think that they are provoked by the Serbs. Yes, we and the Albanians don't love each-other but the Serbs always want to add fuel to the fire with their fake news. Some Macedonians especially the Yugo-nostalgic ones think that Serbia is our friend and that the Serbs are our brothers but that's completely wrong, Serbia always worked against Macedonia, even today, but I guess some people want to remain ignorant... most of the conflicts that happened in Macedonia between the Macedonians and the Albanians are because of the Serbian influence here... Here's something about the 2001 conflict - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2001_insurgency_in_the_Republic_of_MacedoniaWe will be always thankful to Ukraine for the help.

Διαμονδ We are very similar to each other. Well, you can say we are almost the same. In Bulgaria there are about 3.5 million people with origin from Macedonia. During the Ottoman occupation and after the Balkan wars many Macedonians escaped to Bulgaria. Their descendants mostly identify themselves as Bulgarians now, so they think we are one nation, like we are all Bulgarians. Some take that as a good thing but some don't, Macedonians want to be Macedonians only and don't want to have anything to do with others. As you can see under many Youtube comment sections, or under some FB photos for example, there are dozens of Bulgarians where they say stupid things about us, like we don't exist, like we were created by the communists, that Macedonia is a Bulgarian territory etc. That's due to their communist government of Todor Zivkov. On the other hand, Macedonians like to call Bulgarians - Tatars or Gypsies, which they are not. When it comes to the language, Bulgarians want to think that Macedonian is a dialect of Bulgarian, which is wrong. Macedonian has its own characteristics which differs from Bulgarian. Before WW2, we didn't really have our own codified literal language, so we mostly used Bulgarian (as a written one, you know, for newspapers, books etc.). After WW2, we created an alphabet for our language and the basis of the language were taken from the Prilep-Bitola dialect (South-western Macedonia). Nothing to do with Bulgarian whatsoever, but you can't explain that to them.. Macedonian were never Bulgarian Tatars, Bulgarians were always Tatars from Tatarstan. They spoke a Turkic/Mongol Language before they came to the Balkans and adopted the Cyrillic Language that Cyril and Methodius made in Salonica, Macedonia off the Macedonians in Macedonia which the Macedonians in Macedonia now speak today. The Bulgarian Language is a mixed up language between the Russian/Ukrainian Dialect Language and a mix up of the Macedonian and the Serbian/Croatian Language today. Proof Macedonians are not Bulgarian Tatars Link: www.historyofmacedonia.org/ConciseMacedonia/MacedoniansNotBulgarians.html Bulgarian Falsification of Macedonian History Link: www.historyofmacedonia.org/MacedonianMinorities/BulgarianFalsification.html Macedonian Language Links: www.minareport.com/2017/05/24/putin-macedonia-is-a-cradle-of-all-slavic-literature/

@jjaskiz Oh, come on. Kosovo is an independent country, which Macedonia recognized as one. Why do you care, anyway?
I never said that Macedonians were "Bulgarian Tatars", and you are mixing two different things. Bulgarians and Bulgars is not the same. The Bulgars were real Turkic-Mongolian tribe that came here in the Balkans (on the territory of Bulgaria) and assimilated to the population that already lived there. They gave the name/demonym to the people that lived there and they became Bulgarians. And they weren't that big of a number, Bulgarians barely have any genetic relation with those Bulgars. You are calling our brothers who left this place to live there "Tatars" too. That means, that you are a Tatar too, even doe I don't know what's so wrong being a Tatar and why do you use it as an insult... both Bulgarian and Macedonian developed from the Old Church Slavonic. Only we and Bulgarians have grammatical cases in our languages of all the other Slavic-speaking nations. Yes, Bulgarian has been influenced by the Russian, while we were influenced by Serbo-Croatian.

Kosovo is an occupied peice of land the Albanians took over that belongs to Serbia. I will support Serbia against the Albanian Gypsy scums. And as for the Bulgarians Tartars, you are wrong about them because the truth is that the Bulgars and the Bulgarians both were the same people who were both Tatars (Turkic-Mongols) from Tatarstan, even the name ''Bulgaria'', ''Bulgarian'' and ''Bulgaria'' are of Turkic origin. When the Bulgars/Bulgarians came to the Balkans, they accepted Christianity and adopted the Slavic Language and the Cyrillic Alphabet off the two Macedonians Cyril and Methodius but over the years the Bulgarian Tartars Language and Alphabet changed and is now a mix between the Macedonian and the Serbian and Croatian Languages and Alphabet and the Russian/Ukrainian Language and Alphabet. The Bulgarian Tatars are not our brothers and they will never be our brothers, they will always be Turkic-Mongols Gypsies. And I am not a Bulgarian Tartars and they will never be our brothers but if you love Bulgarian Tartars so much and you want to become a Bulgarian Tartar then go get a Bulgarian Tatars passport and be one. I will forever be a Macedonian. And Macedonians have some Grammatical Cases with the Serbian and Croatian Langauge to but the Macedonian Language and Alphabet will always be a seperate language and Alphabet to the Bulgarian Tartar Language and Alphabet and the Serbian/Croatian Language and Alphabet with some similarities like all Slavic Languages do with each other.

@jjaskiz Kosovo is an independent country, once again why do you care? When did Serbia support you so you want to return the favor? Never. I know we don't really have good relations with the Albanians but that answer is not good enough.
CTRL+find tarta 6 times!!! Damn man.
Please show me one good example of a Bulgarian that looks like a Mongol. Just one. The Bulgars were a Turkic tribe, yes, but they came in a smaller number. They made an alliance with the native population against the Byzantine empire and the demonym "Bulgarian" remained. Cyril and Methodius didn't create the Cyrillic, but their students Clement and Naum. The basis of the Old-Church Slavonic language were based on the Macedonian dialect around Thessaloniki (Solun). In those times there weren't so many differences between the South-Slavic languages, so... you get the picture. No one said that you are "Bulgarian Tartar", and no one said that I love them. Do you know how many descendants of Macedonian immigrants are there? Research a little, you'll be surprised, you'll find out that your whole life you've being calling your people "Tartars". I didn't quite understand what did you want to say with the rest of your comment but doesn't matter, you've proved my point that you've been brainwashed...

Bulgarians are Tatars from Tatarstan, Volga Bulgaria where the Bulgarians and Bulgars came from was within the borders of Tatarstan, Bulgarians also spoke a Turkic Language before they came to the Balkans and adopted Christianity and the Slavic Language and the Cyrillic Alphabet.

@jjaskiz No, it's not. If you knew history you would've known who was the biggest enemy of the Macedonians after the Ottomans, but you don't. Once again, Kosovo - independent. That girl doesn't look Mongolian at all. >Bulgarians are not Macedonians, they are Turkic Mongol Tatars from Tatarstan who came to the Balkans in the 5th or 6th Century and they are not our people. (the post above me was a mistake, sorry for spam)
