If yes, where does progress lead to?

Leftists and moderate spirits alike "followed" Hegel in the sense that they heard his lectures and were inspired by him. Schelling, who took Hegel's place as professor of philosophy in Berlin after Hegel's death, was not liked by left-leaning philosophical figures such as Kierkegaard and Engels.

Kierkegaard was a "left-leaning" thinker?

The progress of the thought - a German thought - had led to Hutler ideology.
Marx' - to Soviet ideology.
The question is 'what progress?', it's rather regress than progress.
We need to follow Great Britain's thinkers like Moore, Russell and Ayer. And also Vienna's like Frege, Witgenstein and Carnap.
