Nobody is a saint, except for our Lord Jesus. People are sinners, but a sinner is different to a sinner.
We cannot avoid be sinners, but we can avoid doing bigger and longer sins. If you hate people, hate three hundreds, not three thousands of them.
If you cheat, do it with no fun or entertainment, but with a feeling of sorry or excuses.
If you slander someone, do it more calmly and try to tell less. And prefer slandering outsiders to neighbors.
If someone has clapped your cheek, clap his cheek, but with the less rude, than he's done.
And so on.
But I'm not sure. Anyone could correct me? Or do these statements really good advice? Or this looks like a joke? I'm stuck in despair to answer.

All religions were made as an example to show a people a certain way to live and it allows very large groups of people to live together relatively peaceful
likewise the same time it allows an authoritative position to maintain its authority over said people as well as make them semi-predictable in their actions and desires
but bottom line is all religions were made to take wild animals and turn them into a modern civilization this is why you can have a religion with tons of contradictory passages yet still maintain utilization for hundreds or thousands of years is because it's not about accuracy it's about moral perspective
So in a way I kind of like religions I think they get an a for effort unfortunately though being written by man this means that they most definitely are subject to whomever is in power
And it seems to be the case that people that are in power always seem to be overpowered by ego and driven by self-centered motivations and are seemingly incapable of seeing the situation from another person's shoes
And unfortunately that's where all the fun stops in the sucky part of reality begins
