Certainly many parallels between history and the current fiasco.
The pretexts of war being so vague,
the troops being so badly equipped,
that its clear Russia simply wants / wanted "lebensraum".
Currently President Puta has lost more soldiers in 1 month
than was lost in the entire Afghan war.
When these invasions go down, the leader will typically fabricate excuses for the war,
as he has little or no control over events on the ground, but wishes to stay in power.
So he dare not suggest he has no real control.
Its a consequence of false records of resources, and how an economy can be
made to appear robust on paper, but corruption and false reporting based on
personal fear of consequences, results in a famished mob simply taking
a nearby country for the sake of food, or resources, and yes, also
the desire of young military age men for women.
Most of these cannon-fodder troops are bunked up together in barracks lacking
personal privacy, and all sorts of social breakdown results ; not the least
being rape and sodomy of young recruits.
People do not allow themselves to be instructed into a war machine like that
unless the conditions they in are terrible to begin with.
Its all caused by over-population.
