I see no reasons to hunt the dragons thinking it's a philosophy's task. There are authorities in philosophy like Aristotle, Descartes, or Frege, and we have to read them instead of the modern philosophers. Except for the ethernal truths there are nothing interesting and decent. I wouldn't even remind this question if these truths hadn't been abandoned and there weren't so careless attitude toward them. Not to forget about what philosophy is isn't less important.
