Lab Rats Are Lemmings This is evidence for a fourth spatial dimension. The strange phenomena in 3D, such as Indeterminacy, are affected by that unknown. So the numbers are not imaginary; they are outside of our perception. But they do affect 3D at the interface between dimensions. Scientists come up with the unexpected out of a perverse joy in being weird. It is the pathetic snobbery of not being "common," being superior to non-scientists and their reliance on common sense. Real scientists would look for rational solutions, throwing out all assumptions about physics and trying to find new foundations, because the one we have now is cracked.

I don't think we need imaginary numbers. Like when does math go beyond a certain level during the life of an average person? Never.
