"If perchance a knight-errant..." These words sprang in my mind from a specifically unknown source, but they pleased me and: Why don't we suppose that a knight errant, in search of cultural adventures, goes to various nations or "regions" of the earth at least virtually, such as the regions of this Arktos BOARD? He will encounter only what the posts reveal. Thus I opened the door to "Caucasus" an glad I did. What will the knight encounter, if he goes to Italy? Among innumerable things, he will find the path to "Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise". ...............................

in fact, he will meet Dante's poem [La Commedia]. whose incipit ]beginning] goes thus: Nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita, ... In the middle of the journey of our life -- I our middle age, I found myself going through a dark forest, for the right path had been lost.... // Dante was a knight-errant who revealed for us the final phase of many renown Europeans -- all according to divine justice: a real poet, a myth-maker.
