xxxxxxxxx but if the principle exists outside the mind,
the mind could not know of it -
so you, being a mind, could never make such a claim
but
this is similar to what kant called the 'noumenon'
or the object in itself, as opposed to the 'phenomenon'
which is our experience of the object
we can only infer the existence of that which is beyond the mind inductively,
as opposed to deductive logic, which is more rigid / mathematical
our common sense is that objects/principles/forms
exist beyond our experience of them,
but we cannot prove this
much like we cannot prove other people have awareness,
its just counter-intuitive to live as if they don't have awareness
se we can at least distill two types of analysis:
deductive, and inductive, or in other words
purely logical, and intuitive thinking
the intuitive thought-process is every bit as vital,
and those that deny it has value are like
trains on a railway, destined to confine themselves
to a predetermined life devoid of free will
intuition can be wrong, but it can also be hyper-right
it can take us to places where logic is blind;
intuition is near the essence of free will,
whereas those that deny intuition are living a pretense
of logicality, they typically simply decide who is credible
and who is not credible based on an unconscious intuition
following the orders of authority,
or whoever appears to them as their subconscious
parental authority figure
being aware of the role of intuition
is quite different to those that live as if it has no role,
they are easily beguiled and led to the abattoir
or to the killing fields of war as cannon fodder
