Memories of the self are divisive as they focus on the particulars of the self rather than the whole of the self. These particulars of the self are the result of gaps in memory. The self observed under the knowledge of particulars manifests itself in a fragmented state.

Yes, it seems true. No matter how hard I try the wholeness doesn't seem to be reached. Have you heard about the gestalt psychology therapy? They try to gather your memories to one whole picture.
