social position (and status) and who we are

People have a passion for the positions they ocupy in society, but aren't interested in become more just, or more intelligent, or more sage, only judging the sage as a primitive worldview, and not a human possibility.

So, the less sages we have in our society, the more our society are corrupt. Because there is no universal orientation where the sage, or the saint, or the just, is absent.
