Trump officially recognized Jerusalem as the capital of IsraelThe President of the United States Donald trump announced the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital. "I decided that now is the time to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel," said the U.S leader, speaking in a special address.
So Trump has fulfilled a campaign promise. According to him, more than 20 years, every President refused to move the American Embassy to Jerusalem or to recognize it as the capital of Israel. They, according to the US President, believed that this step would be detrimental to the peace process.
Trump said that since then Israel and Palestine no closer to peace. "It would be foolish to assume that following a similar formula to achieve the best results," he added.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked Trump for "a brave and fair decision." The Prime Minister called the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of the "important step to peace" and vowed to maintain the status quo of the Holy places in the city.
The decision Trump prior to his announcement condemned in the Palestinian national authority, and in other States. The President of the Palestinian national authority Mahmoud Abbas during a telephone conversation warned the US President about the serious consequences of the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel for peace, security and stability in the region and the world.
Palestinian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Basem al-Agha told RIA Novosti that Abbas intends to gather to discuss issues of Jerusalem, the leaders of the first Arab countries and then other Muslim countries.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the Republic, after the decision of Washington to break with Israel diplomatic relations.
The head of EU diplomacy Federica Mogherini urged the international community restrained response to the U.S. decision.
Israel considers Jerusalem its "United and indivisible" capital, including its Eastern areas and the historic centre, captured from Jordan in the six day war.
The world does not recognize the annexation and considers the status of the city one of the biggest problems of the middle East conflict which should be solved on the basis of an agreement with the Palestinians claiming the Eastern part of Jerusalem. Because of this, all foreign embassies are located in tel Aviv.
The U.S. Congress in 1995 passed a law on the transfer of the Embassy in Israel from tel Aviv to Jerusalem, but the execution of the decision was delayed all the time.

I know that in the west widely spread opinion that "Jews are controlling USA", "Jews are behind multiculturalism" & "Jews are deep state" etc... From Russia it look slightly different, our local Jews (yes, they also love to work in media) often don't share the ideas/worldvision of American liberal Jews. Maybe we should talk more about american elites in general, the so-called "establishment" who frequently stand not for American national interest, but for some contrived ideological attitudes. Trump in this concrete case can act his own way, since he promised to recognize of Jerusalem as Israel's capital during election campaign. The fact that the Russian liberal Jews often play their own political game to his advantage! In any case, Zion will always be able to agree with each other if they need it! They will be able to negotiate against "The goyim".

The "greater Israel" seems a bit too stretched. Israel had the chance to keep Sinai peninsula occupied during the six-day war, but they withdraw. So it seems to me that they value peace more than territory gains. And I don't think that they did it because of international pressure, just look at Turkish invasion of Cyprus to see how "effective" international pressure is. Regardless of motives and consequences, this was the moral thing to do.

Days of rage have begun.. These barbaric ignorants are on constant rage. Muslims are staging a 'day of rage' around the world after Friday prayers this morning after Donald Trump officially recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

So 2 variants, Trump is Jew puppet or Trump is not jew puppet but made a business deal with Jews (maybe they promised him to weaken pressure on him in media) There is also third version of Trump motivation

In the case of the collapse of the Arab Muslim powers in the middle East, and especially now during the influx of migrants to Europe, Israel with the help of Western partners could easily take Muslim land for himself.

The UN General Assembly did not support Trump's initiative on Jerusalem! 128 countries voted for the document, nine opposed, 35 abstentions! The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution on the non-recognition of the US decision on the status of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, 128 countries voted for the document, nine opposed, 35 abstained, RIA Novosti correspondent reports. The resolution was not supported by the United States, Israel, Guatemala, Honduras, the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau and Togo. Earlier, Donald Trump said that the United States would stop providing financial assistance to countries that would support a resolution condemning Washington's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. According to the adopted document, "any decisions and actions that involve a change in the character, status and demographic composition of the holy city of Jerusalem are null and void, and should be abolished." The resolution also requires that all states "do not recognize any actions or measures that are at variance with resolutions" of the UN Security Council. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday that the United States will not be able to buy support from Ankara in the UN vote on Jerusalem. www.segodnya.ua/world/wnews/genassambleya-oon-ne-podderzhala-iniciativu-trampa-1100564.html
