Chickenhawk Pot PieHanson writes a lot about war, but was a gutless puke when his chance to experience it personally in Vietnam. He ran away to college to dodge the draft and has been running away to observations-from-a-safe-distance ever since. Very Postmodern of him to act that way.

Honestly, for me even those names as "the Modern" of "the Postmodern" are like names of sicknesses. I mean a part of a certain (usually, the middle class elites) society starts holding to a certain view, and after it swallows wider and wider zone by some other ones (e.g. media resources, writers) who spreading the view.
It looks like a metapolitics over the daily politics, but as the intellectual sphere. I wonder how close are these two politics? And can we by changing the metapolitic views change the political views? (I believe changing the politics has much more effect on the metapolitics. Like as soon as dictatorship become a ruler one intellectual massive of views may turn to its opposition.)
