Some years ago I was investigating by myself the temperaments and the relation between the temperaments.
There are four temperaments: sanguineous, coleric, phleumatic and melancolic, which is based on the theory of humor, maybe Galen or the firsts greek therapeuts have this notion, and create the idea, which is based on facts, that there are some sympathies and antiphaties between temperaments.
It's kind of empirical, but the sanguineous tends to antyphatize with the phleumatic, because the phleumatic is more lazzy and the sanguineous are more active, more energetic. But at the same time the phleumatic tends to chastity, and the sanguineous, to luxury and physical pleausures. And so on with the associations.
It's based on four vices: lazzyness (phleumatic), luxury (sanguineous), sadness (melancolic) and rage (coleric).
It's a kind of relative idea but in some way based on facts that we cannot evade easily.

Antipathies* There is so many letters in english words that is almost impossible for a non-native speaker to be perfect in his writing. I can read english well but I prefer to read more the structure, what the text is based.
