All I see are assertions, not actual facts to support this. Show me evidence that occasional moderate alcohol consumption is harmful.
Also, when Jesus turned water into wine, was he trying to poison the crowd?

We're allowed drugs and stuff still as medicine. Nothing wrong with making it. How we consume is the issue.

As fschmidt pointed out, Jesus Christ turned water into wine and it most certainly was alcoholic wine as nonalcoholic wine was not invented until 1869. Thus drinking without getting drunk or being a drunkard is most certainly permitted by the Bible. However, I hate alcohol as I've seen what it can do to people so I don't drink myself.

What does having wine have anything to do with sin as I pointed out to him? I have tons of drugs at home you know. But I only use it when I'm sick because I don't plan to sin

It's safe if you're cleaninig with it :p Yea! There's things that have it for other things. It's just not to be abused. Not the point of it.

I guess Fschmidt is right, he rightly noticed it. I was going to get another example where Paul wrote to Titus that he (Titus) should use only diluted vine. They say Romans warriors used deluted vine, because it was safe to use it instead of a plain water (that could be polluted).
But that vine miracle Fschmidt was talking about crystally explained that those people at the wedding party were drinking. That new vine that was brought later was considered as the most wonderful, than the previous. And who would say why that was said except for – lowing alcohol degree (consistency) could be risky to get completely drunk.
Moreover, that the mainest part in Gospels – the Lord's Supper – there indeed was vine. And God by Himself said to drink it FOR HIS NAME.
I am an oposer for any drunks and drinking policy, but... that was God's will. That was His will.
I guess today I'll be drunk. I gotta be.
