Crisis evalutation and attempts of prediction of the future, is what actually prevents conflicts between superpowers. Not knowledge of eachothers resources, military power and nuclear arsenal.
Any superpower might be thought do best in gathering intelligence on potential enemies. But I think, that today we are more focused on small crises potentially escalating to larger ones. And superpowers run themselves in circles in predicting the possible outcomes of these crises. Not really reaching anything substantial. Therefore, good news for world peace. Actually.

It would be good if only the small crisis would happen. I'm so tired of them all. 80's, 90's and 00's were more quiet and more peaceful, and I liked them for that. And comparely to the modern one situation I wouldn't call it non-globalistic; vice versa - the fall of Berlin wall, the fall of USSR, many world championships, many peaceful years - what good globalistic things could be?
I don't know why, but it seems that previously there were more realistic, non virtual interactions between as countries so people, while today there are more talks about globalization, politics on it, and so on. I mean everything has turned into "politicianized" condition. Everyone becomes so about-to-explosive.
Anyway, I'm glad I had been living those years then, and I was absolutely happy to live those times. And I don't really cares about any good news, because after 2011 everything went disaster (for me).

I totally agree. We have crises now and superpowers play games no one really understands (and only they themselves think theres a point)

But its like a pressure cooker. You can keep sealing the point where the force is bursting out. You're just making the cataclysm worse if the primary cause of war is not understood:
OVER-POPULATION
