i was wondering what were the recurring themes you guys experience in your dreams the recurring theme in my dreams starts of in a city a bomb drops and the dream warps into survival with a group and for some reason i see a lot of future tech(imagine terminator robots but more high tech) after the survival period starts. this type of dream started after i was determined to unlock the secrets of my own mind in a sesnse, i was open to anything and every experience and learned to keep my biases aside i interpret the dream as bomb = new information and rest of the dream = changes based on the new information, because thats happening in my life quite a lot, major behavioral changes in the past year or so based on new information what do you guys think about dreams? and feel freet o share your experience

I think some dreams might not mean anything...like you might just dream of playing in the park or something. At other times dreams can unlock things for you. Like it was a dream that told me I had a sister that passed away and after I did some investigating, it was all true. So some dreams hold truth, information, and even wisdom. If we bring in the bible, Joseph interpreted dreams for others and was correct on them coming true. Like with your dream, marduk, I think it was saying you will have a lot of information coming at you and there are many interpretations or explainations for them but that you must always stay calm and process it in the best you can with all other biases aside when it comes to other opinions. That's my opinion

I won't deny the possibility of mysticism but dreams mostly it's just a phenomenon in your brain!

I won't deny the possibility of mysticism but dreams mostly it's just a phenomenon in your brain! yes i think its both based on what we know about dreams through neuroscience and pscyhology, dreams are phenomena which help us reduce the events of the day to important bits and unimportant bits and it does this through a simulation and these simulations can also hold value in the future (the mystical part) for example the hunter gatherer man had dreams or visions induced by psychedelics which induced anxiety the same person who knows better what anxiety feels like will have a better chance of survival when he goes out into the unkown to hunt or scavange and anxiety hits him/her in this very real scenario the mind would be much more clearer and would be better at navigation around naviagating the anxiety inducing circumstance because of the prior simulation in the dream or the vision from a Jungian analytical perspective dreams are the point where the conscious and the unconscious meet consciousness being data separation of the day and unconscious being the simulation which might be valuable later on in conscious reality
