Linux gaming is a niche market and it does not play a notable role in PC gaming universe. But Linux users have the right to be supported by both Linux developers and video game companies. Because games should not be restricted to a specific OS.
Seems many developers won't release their games for Windows 7 and 8.1 anymore. I have seen many Windows 10-only titles on Steam.

I agree that Linux gaming will always be a niche market, but Linux gaming has never been better. Only a year ago, a game like "Kingdom come deliverance" would stutter in Linux, while now it performs as well in Linux as in Windows 7.
Do you have any plans for what to do when Windows 7 ceases to be updated in 2023?

That was a bit painful to read, but I guess a gamer has to do what a gamer has to do. If that happens, then you can use this script to debloat Windows 10. Click on "code" and choose "download zip".

karlIt's a loss for developers and publishers because about 25% of Steam users still use Windows 7.
