Leftists traditionally wanted to use the government to help the working class. (American) Democrats hate the working class. Democrats want to use the government to protect big business. Many Leftists supported various kinds of individual freedom like freedom of speech. Democrats hate free speech and freedom of any kind. They are authoritarians. Leftists have usually been anti-war. Democrats are pro-war. There is no political word that I can think of to describe the democrats. They are simply pure evil tyrannical scum.

The Gulag concept, imprisoning political opponents, is common to all authoritarians. This includes communists, nazis, and American democrats.
I have nothing against Putin's Russia.

Almost all Great leaders have started on the left and switched to the right or were corrupted , the only great leaders ever to start on the right are teachers scholars and intellectual types .

Siberia, the Far East, Volga Germans, Cossacks, Native Siberians and many other peoples living in Russia have identities distinct from Russia proper and should be given their own countries. Russia is a complete pain in the arse to the West and its Eastern European neighbors and has been since it first came into existence. Right now its an economic basket case with crazy suicidal possibly world ending ambitions (as shown by Alexander Dugin's new book The Last War of the World Island) and the only reason it still remains relevant is because it has this huge landmass stretching to the Behring strait. We should've never let Russia survive the Cold War, it's an authoritarian imperialistic culture and always has been. |

I mean your analysis is quite quite sharp.) About having own countries. Aristotle and Tacit (and, perhaps, some others, but I'm not sure) wrote that barbarians from Crimea and above enough lazy and dumb to create a polis as a place where they could live together normally. (They told it about some other regions also.) Such problems what occur time to time here are so unsurprisingly. If you read Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Shevchenko, Chekhov or Gogol, you just can continue their psychology that have the really major impact on the social organization within these territories. I mean as we can interchange psychology to sociology (starting to speak not about a human qualities, but a social ones, or vice versa), the same can be done here to see what's going on here on this level. Psychology plays major if not the absolutely biggest role, and this is the reason for those many cases that happen time to time from this side of the world. |
