One amigo said me that a girl of him said once that the name Eugene was terrible and disgusting, and she would never date a guy with such a name. I knew that girl, while the gringo hadn't known about it, and she never said something badly at me, but supposedly she could say something like that, and she probably dislike me. I mean her attitude wasn't seen much obvious by her behaviour. This case made me think 'bout this deeper.
What did I thought was that – why girls hate name Eugene, and what men names did they like?
So, do a name have any impact on/to relationship? Which names would you like your beloved friend to have?

O.k, what if you had met two guys named Eugene and Richard, when the first was stronger, smarter, more rich, etc, while the second was smart, strong, rich, etc., whom you would choose? I would choose the one I make a connection with, there is more to life than material gain. |

Everyone likes different names that's why parents sometimes even struggle naming a child together so they both will like the name. I went through this already. No, I don't have kids but I've named possible future kids sometimes with someone I dated if we were to have kids one day. Elizabeth was one of those names picked  . And for me though I don't like the name Richard at all but that doesn't mean I won't like the person named Richard. When it comes to your name Eugene I guess my Ukrainian side wins and I choose Yevgeniy as the cuter version.  |
