In the west, there is no alternative to Facebook! There used to be Bebo but that was mostly for Teens and I was a Teen when Bebo was around. But it went down hill fast because the people who owned sold Bebo sold it due to bankruptcy and a few years later they bought it back and turned it in to a shitty App which is totally different to the old Bebo. Old Bebo could not compete with Facebook anyway, Facebook is too much of a big competition for Bebo just like Myspace and Twitter was a big competition for Bebo back in the day. R.I.P Bebo , the best Social Networking website back in the day before Facebook was popular and took over. :(

Facebook hurts my head. I increase my block list there each time I am brave to enter its doors. Sigh

Leaving the cave was bad for our African forefathers but they had no choice. It was cave or die. Similarly, FB is the first of the engines of cultural globalisation that underpins the globalisation of capitalism and it will add a bewildering change to what we have been used to. Many will literally find themselves disoriented for a generation or 2 and then that will become the norm.

It is indeed a very dangerous capitalism tool of global imperialism. It is not just a website, there is much more which runs behind it.

And that's why I hate Indian breeds. India is actually a place where all these global capitalists reap and mint their profits. I have seen europeans fighting and resisting corporate imperialism, may not be politicians, but the citizens, but Indians, they happily accept whatever the capitalists throw at them.
I am rather surprised that how can USA/UK even allow Indians to come and work there, while Indians themselves don't contribtue to make their own nation strong. The move to make Indians CEO of organisation looks more or less a clear part of agenda.

Facebook, Indian moderators, earlier, never allowed any type of racial discussions also. It is only when the articles related with genetics were published, that they went a bit soft.

In the west, there is no alternative to Facebook! So this is what capitalism is? No alternative to anything, but accept what's being thrown at people?

Facebook hurts my head. I increase my block list there each time I am brave to enter its doors. I too had 5 facebook accounts. I created first one in 2009, but never used it. Only from 2012, I became a bit regular. I deleted this one. And whenever I was in facebook, there was no room to talk correct, but have to say what others want to listen and hear. This is one problem of facebook, one does not have to option to be right there.

There were always racial discussions on Facebook when it first came out to the public for everyone to use not just for people from the University Mark Zuckerberg was at. They cannot block you from speaking your mind online because it is violates peoples Freedom Of Speech.
