All nations should have nuclear arms

What about fundamentalist Islamic countries or countries with cultures like Iran are prone to being taken over by such Islamist parties? These people do not care about dying and actually welcome it. Yes Japan and Germany should have militaries and sane first world countries should be able to defend and project themselves militarily and not rely on the USA so much for defense but some countries are just too insane and evil to have nukes.

As I read it he wants every country to have nuclear weapons so no one will start a war with anyone else because of fear of being nuked and by extension causing a worldwide nuclear war.  I'm saying that this is wrong because some crazy dictator or Islamist state may not care about dying or destroying most of the world. Some countries just shouldn't have nukes.

Nukes are bad. They are terrifying weapons which threaten to bring upon us an apocalypse. In a perfect world, they wouldn't exist at all. We don't live in a perfect world so the only thing we can try to do is make certain that nukes are in the hands of good first world democratic nations that will not misuse them to terrorize others and not evil dysfunctional communistic or Islamically fundamentalist tyrannies that will use them to harm others. 

The reason that nukes exist at all is because we had to develop them first before the Nazis did or the world today would would be ruled by those same Nazis. It sucks but it had to be done and now we're stuck with them, but please GOD do not give countries like China, or North Korea, Iran, or Saudi Arabia the ability to annihilate us with nukes by elevating them to nuclear parity with us out of some misinformed idea that the fear of mutually assured destruction will keep everybody civil. What that would do is create the situation we had in the Cold War writ large.
