Thanks for sharing this! I'm currently auditing a module on quantitative reasoning and methodologies. An extra assignment involves picking up a data-modeled prediction and presenting a summary of key terms and variables used, to almost make it a glossary-like presentation. This helps to that end. Other than that we're also doing a short refresher on the z-score formula, if anyone's interested.

I'm using it to gain a sort of 101-level understanding of statistics-based modeling. Not really my field. At all. Professors are pushing for a community outreach project to demystify these predictions. They want us to focus on the contingencies--those that are inevitable and those that are specific to models. That is, to understand why these factors are contingencies in the first place, and how this affects predictions. Those who are able to understand this well will be roped in for the outreach project. It's online, and involves writing easy to understand guides.
