To me it's kind of pointless to get one, since most computer games I play are best played with mouse and keyboard, in front of a monitor. So if I really needed those specs, I'd upgrade instead. But for now, I'm happy with what I have. I'm always lagging behind the latest development, since I keep playing games I like for ages. So I never try out new titles before the GOTY version is out with all added DLCs. This has saved me a lot of money.

However owning a video game console does have its own advantages.
