I have one not good working graphic card. The image it provides is colour unstable: bending of 3D graphics, stripes, and so on.
Usually this problem linked with over-heated microchip. Unfortunately the chip is impossible to remove; it can be re-heated again only, and with proper tools. To this I need to use an infraded soldering equipment.
Some enthusiasts solve this problem by heating chips higher than 230 of Celsius. They say it works, but not for a long time. All the problem is to make the chip exactly be heated.
So, how to repair a graphic card's chip using only hand-made tools? Is this possible?
