Hey all. Ok so today was in an interesting event I guess we can call it and wanted to see if anyone here has any info or similar stories.
I know of people who sleep walk. Some of whom I met personally. They didn't tell me their stories but their siblings did usually.
One was a 5 year old who woke up in the middle of the night and tried to walk outside. But she wasn't always very quiet when sleep walking so was stopped. Usually she'd walked into something or turn on lights so someone noticed it.
Another was waking up at night and going to eat. And in the mornings the family thought someone broke in and made a mess in the kitchen for several days at a time. Until they set up a camera to see what was happening because house was always locked up. That's when they realized a family member kept sleep walking and the sleep walker never knew they walked since was a recent thing that happened.
Well.....
I've a crazier story...and need to see if anyone has info. Some people think they hurt themselves while asleep. It's because they wake up with scratches, bruises, etc. My question is...is this possible or someone's beating them up in their sleep or something?
I say this because...one person can do lucid dreaming and all...which always was natural for them. But sometimes they wonder why they're hurt physically when they say nothing happened to them while they were awake to cause that. This person never cut themselves or do any self harm so would seem odd if it was intentional. They'd suggest help to those who do it even. So could some people hurt themselves in their sleep? How? Why? And if so...can it lead to death?
