I prefer Manjaro over Mint. I'll tell you why.

1. No need of ppas to have the latest drivers;

2. Very huge repo. On Mint, you don't have many apps available in its store and you'll probably need a flatpak version or then search for deb over the internet (Windows-like way);

3. If you don't find what you want in the official repos, you try in the AUR. The AUR is huge!

4. No need of using the problematic snap (Ubuntu), flatpak (Mint, Fedora), appimage (Nitrux). You can get everything from the repos or AUR. Snap, flatpak and appimage are optional to use, not forced or the only way;

5. Manjaro comes with very few processes and services enabled when compared to Ubuntu and Mint, just the essential.

6. Manjaro has minimal versions of almost all DEs, except Gnome, but like Ubuntu, you have the possibility to create your own Manjaro using Manjaro-Architect tool.

7. Manjaro has builds that are pretty uncommon. I'm talking about the WM builds. You can find awesome, bspwm, i3wm, openbox versions out-of-the-box.

8. It's a rolling release and bleeding edge distro, so you don't need to worry about changing version or losing support like on Ubuntu LTS. Also you will have the most recent versions of applications.

9. Few users know, but Manjaro has three different branches, it's pretty similar to Debian. It has stable, testing and unstable. The unstable version is basically Arch. The stable version tests the packages for 2 to 3 weeks before releasing to the public, it means you have some stability when compared to pure Arch.

10. Different from Arch and Antergos, you have the Manjaro Settings Manager that lets you be able to manage drivers (free or proprietary), language packs, kernels, keyboard... Pretty similar to Ubuntu, except that on Ubuntu you need third-party application to manage kernel.



These are 10 reasons I prefer Manjaro over Mint and even Ubuntu. In the past, I've been a Ubuntu/Mint/Debian user, but now I prefer the Arch based distros like Manjaro.
