Praise of Lord, I'm the one of those 20%. I can repair many things by myself. For example, I was fixing USB-flashes, MP3-players, charges, and the other devices. Love the electronics!
How do you fix a USB flash?
(Well, I must say I had to thrash some of those after my repairs though. For some problems in core micros I needed more tender and very tiny instruments, I mean - a soldering iron. I have no heater stations for soldering irons, so for the work I use rather old tools.) I fixed some, and in each case there were different problems. Part of them had problems with tiny details: smd-fuses, bulbed-capacitors and not perfectly tuned resistors. It wasn't so easy, but wasn't so hard too. Costs me, probably, nothing. Repair of it was cheap. Some of them had problems in micros, but as I said having no good tools helped me a very little. I had found some info about repairing some of the problem on one of my flashes throwing some copper-roads away - to decrease a memory capacity. I did it, and it would work. Yes, I had lost some of the features, and my usb flash became not 64 gb, but 32 or 16 (I didn't remember what the number was). And some of them had just soft problems: they didn't want to load, and I were fixing it using some programs like "hard disk level format", or "sdformatter", or kinda. In a couple of cases I uses the method of short-circuiting - to connect two of legs in micros to erase all the changes on it.

The people they surveyed were not millenials, they were too young, and were what are called post millenials most of whom could probably run rings around millenials when it comes to finding your way around a mobile phone.

Truth is millenials don't have capability to get out of tough situtations, and they want everything easy They remind me of Kobe Beef.
Kobe Beef comes out of Japan.
They lock the cattle in a box so they cannot move.
Then they give them beer and grass and feed them all day.
And they massage them as well.
They are soft and squishy and fundamentally useless except to be consumed and to consume.
I see these "kids" and they remind me of Kobe Cattle.

Kobe children have always existed. There is nothing new here.
