They’re both dangerous. Most philosophy is useless, it is just ways to explain or investigate things intelligently and coherently(at least it is supposed to be), but some philosophy can be dangerous because it doesn’t use experience or observation as a method to explain or investigate nature, causes, principles of reality, knowledge, or values. So people can be tricked into believing things that aren’t real and/or into having a grandiose opinion of themselves.
Facebook is dangerous too, most social media is. It is an effective way for people who want to spread vain/evil philosophies around to others.

Theology is just connect the dots of certain religious statements...that is it.
Science is also a philosophy as well.

Philosophy makes you think and use your brain. As long as you don't worship it or whatever it's a good brain workout. Facebook is just there to have you compete for the most time wasted in life.

Comment section of some YouTube videos is one of the worst things that I have encountered on internet. Perfect example of internet retardation. Facebook and Philosophy are normal stuff and hobby in comparison with non-stop bullshit on YT.

Bad philosophies, ideologies, religions, and economic and political theories can lead to millions upon millions of people being murdered in genocides, raped, enslaved, or subjugated under horrific tyrannies. American slavery for instance was partly justified by the writings of Aristotle in which some humans are naturally servile, weak, and born to subjugation (as well as Greek and Roman slavery for that matter). Nazism was influenced by many philosophers not the least of which being Fredrick Nietzsche through a racial interpretation of Nietzsche's superman. There are many other examples. I have no idea how Facebook will lead to the death of millions so I choose philosophy.

I have no idea how Facebook will lead to the death of millions so I choose philosophy. Surprisingly to see the influence of Aristotle to what the others wrongly call American slavery. Was there an influence of Aristotle, or not, the fact was that almost the whole humanity was living the same (during those times). Just let me explain it: if in Aristotle times there were no democracies, it would be at least weird to claim that Aristotle must have democratic views. Surely, humanity as one unit isn't the same as one living human being, but we, humans, used to do horrible things as cannibalism, or incest long before today. I can't imagine how these facts may be taken to accuse us; the same is about so-called American slavery. It's definitely an exaggeration.

I have let people think I was all sorts of different people on different platforms I've let people think I was a woman I let people think I was a black man you name it I have allowed people to assume that based off of profile pictures or explanations I give and I did so in order to do a social test I kept my language the same I didn't change my attitude whatsoever I talk to people the same way the only difference was some people thought I was a woman some people thought I was a certain ethnicity some people thought I was really old some people thought I was really young and it was absolutely shocking the difference in how people would talk to me despite my language being the same it was a dramatic difference in how people responded to my comments The most forgiving and understanding replies I ever received is when people thought I was a woman I could almost downright say super offensive stuff and people would reply in what seemed like a genuine attempt to understand what I was saying and reconcile with me in a polite manner But on face book I used a picture from in the gym after a good workout when im all pumped up blood veins like road maps anacondas with Boulder shoulders Which I only have a few photos like that because normally I keep to myself I wear very baggy clothes I don't show off because I know that it can put down somebody that is struggling with their Physique in the gym and I don't want to be that D-bag walking around making people feel bad about themselves so it's about as rare as catching a unicorn on camera to find a photo of me in a fitted wife beater But nonetheless I had a picture so I used it as my profile picture and the difference in how people talk to me when they see that profile picture putting it lightly people talk to me like a stray dog piece of trash I kid you not and you would think I was a fortune teller because as soon as the insults start firing I could tell you exactly what they're going to say it's disturbingly cookie cutter in the negative comments as people attempt to make fun of me I've heard them a million times Now that could just be the nature of Facebook in comparison to online forums but I would like to think that it has something to do with the mental image people get based off of what profile picture you have and it's crazy the difference in how they treat the 30 year old female me and the jacked viking gym gorilla me At was an eye opener to just how different peoples day to day life experience is just do to just how they look Now it could just be that face book has turned into a slum cage fighting Cesspool of lowlifes that's also another possibility
