Games stir our curiosity
We are biologically programmed to be curious. Curiosity is our drive to acquire new information and experiences, which enables us to learn.
When confronted with a new game, we do not know the rules of the world, and by playing we discover these magical rules. What can we build? What can we destroy? How high can we jump?
Games surprise us
Like no other media, games can show us things we did not expect.
Unlike the fixed plots in literature and film, the outcome of a game is uncertain: it can be different each time we play.
Games give us control
Games make us the master of our own universe. They are compelling solo activities that allow us to create and build, to drive the narrative and have agency in the outcome.
Games satisfy our need for accomplishment
Discovering rules, mastering rules and mastering skills give us a deep satisfaction.
There is a tension between accessibility and challenge, and games can strike a balance in unique ways to maximize our interest, enjoyment and sense of achievement.
Games connect us
Games are powerful attractors of communities that give us a common interest to connect over.

Gaming is usually the best way to stress release. Gaming makes us more active than normal thinking.

Now a Days gaming has been hyped to a new level in old days gaming was not considered a solid thing, Now a days people spend thousands of dollars just to build a Gaming PC to play some games. That simply means that gaming has some effect on our body.

One more thing which i read on the internet is that Gamers can focus on more things at a time than a normal person. A Gamer has more observing skills than a common person.

I personally love playing video games cause they involve me in virtual reality. I play a game called SmallWorlds . It’s a virtual world where you can create an avatar and go around either collecting rares as you go along, doing missions, or just chatting with people from all around the globe. Really a great one. Also I love playing slots on casino . Just for fun

Passivism, Defeatism, and Surrendering Without Putting Up a Fight It is cowardly escapism from being losers in the game of reality. The imaginary player even get the sop of participation and control, but it is a fantasy world, so nothing he does there counts.

Video games are nothing but glorified skinner boxes. An artificial reward system that sucks up time that could be spent doing something productive in the real world. I'm sadly a hypocrite that loves to spend time on games, although lately I've been left with a sort of empty feeling after playing a game too long.
