A common feature of porn addiction is a fear of intimacy, where the man (or even woman) objectifies the woman strictly to a object whose sole purpose is that of gratification.
Common in pornography is not just the denigration of women, but the inherent dominance of them.
This dominance, while observed strictly through the act itself leads to further repression on the value and worth of a woman.
The helplessness of women is observed not just through a screen, but even in everyday life, where the man observes the woman as helpless and frail, unable to stand up for herself.
Now this "weakness" of women, in the form of continual dominance, gives perspective to a legitimate question: Is the dominance of women, in saying they are helpless, actually a fear of women?
Where the act of pornography seperates any form of intimacy with a woman into a strict objectification through force, does this translate to continually trying to protect women by controlling them? Is control a fear of intimacy where the man is afraid to be hurt or rejected by a woman?
Is protecting a woman sexist? Is not protecting a woman sexist? What differentiates protection from control?
In cultures where the continual protecting of women is deemed as essential, is there also a correlation with pornographic use?
Thoughts? I don't know.

Today I noticed one thing..for many women in all corners of the world, porn is a way to get money. What about a man acting as a husband, in traditional third-world type countries, is this not also a way a woman get's money. , I guess you can argue divorce settlements in 1st world countries do the same thing. What is the difference between traditional marriage and a relationship through porn if in both circumstances the woman is payed?
