Just joined the forum. I guess I would introduce myself by saying I study history. Young lad here so I need to narrow my studies over the next year or two. Would appreciate suggestions. Currently interested in 20th Century military/political Western, 20th Century Middle Eastern, Middle Age European, and Early European/Roman Empire.

I would suggest to start from as early as possible and to work your way to the present but that would take a long time. I like the Sumerians a lot and feel they're not mentioned too much yet they were fairly advanced. Also...welcome to arktos! Just jump into discussions and meeting the members

I know there are some history wizards on this forum that could help you decide. I however like history a little earlier than that. That would be my suggestion.

I guess I would introduce myself by saying I study history. I never studied history in school. I am curious about the ratio of primary sources to secondary sources used to teach history in school.
