"The ends justify the means" is utilitarianism's core principle. It's also one of the least consistent philosophical principles of all time.
The primary flaw with this concept is that it ignores the field of epigenetics. It also is fundamentally based around a bandwagon fallacy with a composition fallacy baked in - assuming that which the majority believes or prefers is ultimately true or preferable for all.
