How accurate is the political compass?

I used it and it was accurate, it placed me around Castro

Have you ever criticised Castro? Or I wrong? 

The "left" and "right" originates from France during their revolution.
So the western political system is still essentially following this process.
Those literally sitting on the 'right' were pro-monarchy, the 'left' were for the new order. 
So the words should refer to staying the same or to changing. (Conservative or liberal).

But what is change for one generation is staying the same for the next,
thus they should never really be symbolic of any particular principle.
However, because this is not fully realized, certain ideals become fixed
on one label or the other - causing confusion. This actually suits the political
elites who monopolize as the process becomes simply a matter of switching
colors between red and blue without any real change in policy.

When there is change in policy, its endorsed by most sides anyway,
thus rendering the entire democratic process into a meaningless bureaucracy
which eats up resources and thus inhibits growth both social and economic.
Ironically, we still have an elitist politic little different from the French monarchy.
... and we all know how that ended.
