If you could choose what you become when you die, as an "afterlife", what would you choose? I think I would probably go for something quite original. Personally, I would refer to myself as Hades, and block the gate to the underworld as a giant, carnivorous hole. I would then do what I could to let everyone know what they needed to change to get through. Probably by manifesting different colours of radiant energy observable through a telescope. Giving you all directions on how to change yourself, based on my own, personal agenda. It really shouldn't matter that you wouldn't want to be me if you knew me. You should just accept your fate and let me float about in etheral bliss to my own laws, while everybody else gets burned. How about you guys? What dickhead stunts would you pull if you had access to a form beyond being as we know it?

I choose to become like an angel. So essentially Satan No. It's what Christians will be. Not an angel but similar to one. Matthew 22:30 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.

To be more precise - you want to live out death in "heaven" and face the lottery of it not being what you dreamed?

Only concrete similarity humans will have to angels is that angels are spirits and humans will become spirits. Spirits don't marry and can't reproduce. That's all it is basically Shrug

That's all it is basically True, but The spirit would be a form of energy. And the law of conservation of energy states energy never dies, only changes state. If that is indeed the case, you risk "Satan." Satan being one who was in heaven and differed from the angels by way of dislike for his surroundings and way of being. And was discharged from heaven, or by another translation, the body where the energy lies. I'm just curious to know if my analysis was correct would you still want to wish for heaven and be judged.

Satan and the other angels are the same form. They are all spirits. Some just have more powers than others like some humans have more talents than others. Humans when as spirits will help judge them later it says. So Satan and his angels/demon's faith lie in our hand and God's. But they'll be destroyed as it's written and predicted. Shrug

You would think so but that would mean that angels were snakes, because satan was made in Genesis to crawl the belly of the earth forevermore for tempting eve with the forbidden fruit. If all snakes were to be destroyed, the impact on the eco system would be profound. Also, as angels can fly, being swept in to the clouds to a choir of winged snakes seems frankly quite unappealing. God would perhaps appear in the form of Rey Mears and feed us live mice so we could sustain ourselves, and in this altered state of reality we would experience a new resurrection in a form of creation that would make us happier with a constant feeder like we never have in this life. I just think its important to objectively examine what we have been given in order to not get popped with 10 years as a wild grass snake
