The only thing I would wish for is universal human intelligence. Nothing depresses me more than the universal stupidity of modern humanity. This forum is one of least stupid that I know of, but still the people here lack the intelligence to recognize the impending doom that the current rapid drop of intelligence will produce. Oh...you are wrong...I recognize the doom already...I have to deal with everyday. It is very difficult to have basic discussions about life with people...they all talk about whatever distraction they are dealing with for the moment (entertainment, hook-ups, etc.). Humanity is dropping 7 iq points every ten years, this 7 point loss of intelligence occured between 1750 and 1900 (or 1950)....and now it is becoming every decade. So what are you planning to do about it? Or do you just accept that your genes will belong to a species of lower primates in future generations? |

It may be that some small groups will avoid this fate, particularly some religious groups. In this case it is simply a matter of associating with the right group. Another option is to help form some small group that will avoid this fate. One doesn't have to save the world, one only has to save a small group to save one's own genes. |

The majority of the problems we deal with are from people trying to change the world rather than themselves. |
