Unfortunately, there is no section here - Pseudoscience - this teachings refer to the falsehood! What do you think about Scientology and its founder Ron Hubbard? The Church of Scientology is a multinational network and hierarchy of numerous ostensibly independent but interconnected corporate entities and other organizations devoted to the practice, administration and dissemination of Scientology, a new religious movement. The Church of Scientology International (CSI) is officially the Church of Scientology's parent organization, and is responsible for guiding local Scientology churches. At a local level, every church is a separate corporate entity set up as a licensed franchise and has its own board of directors and executives. The first Scientology church was incorporated in December 1953 in Camden, New Jersey by L. Ron Hubbard. Its international headquarters are located at the Gold Base, in an unincorporated area of Riverside County, California. The location at Gilman Hotsprings is private property and not accessible by the public. Scientology Missions International is under CSI and oversees Scientology missions, which are local Scientology organizations smaller than churches. The Church of Spiritual Technology (CST) is the organization which owns all the copyrights of the estate of L. Ron Hubbard. The highest authority in the Church of Scientology is the Religious Technology Center (RTC). The RTC claims to only be the "holder of Scientology and Dianetics trademarks", but is in fact the main Scientology executive organization.RTC chairman David Miscavige is widely seen as the effective head of Scientology. All Scientology management organizations are controlled exclusively by members of the Sea Org, which is a legally nonexistent paramilitary organization for the "elite, innermost dedicated core of Scientologists". David Miscavige is the highest-ranking Sea Org officer, holding the rank of captain. Although in some countries it has attained legal recognition as a religion, the movement has been the subject of a number of controversies, and has been accused by critics of being both a cult and a commercial enterprise. Ron Hubbard tormenting tomatoes!

I expected to see someone who was a bad person or who believed something out of the ordinary. No, he was a pretty cool guy and a Christian. If you asked him about freemasonry and what would happen behind the scenes he'd joke, "If I told you I'd have to kill you." But he was the kind of guy who told stupid jokes. Anyways, what seems to be your problem with freemasonry exactly? I've heard all kinds of conspiracy theories about the Illuminati and what not but they're all bull. Never heard them compared to scientology. Given the secrecy of the group I'd like to know how you know anything about their beliefs at all. I sure don't know anything, but had always imagined that they were like some country club or something basically just hanging out at social events. Anyways there was nothing sinister about by grandfather, he was a good man. Wait, so you asked him to tell you about freemasonry and he said he’d have to kill you if he told you anything about it.. but did he ever tell you anything about it after you asked him? There are former Freemasons who have shed the light on exactly what they do and what they believe. The Illuminati was a real thing, idk if it still exists today but it did at a point in history. It was a secret society like freemasonry lodges are secret societies. It doesn’t surprise me that he called himself a Christian as there are many “Christians” who are Freemasons, especially big name preachers like those on TBN and such. And the requirement for becoming a Freemason is that you must believe in a god and it doesn’t matter what god, just a god. I made a thread on Freemasonry a couple days ago. I’d share it here but I don’t know how to do that through tapatalk. Yeah, I'm not talking about the Bavarian Illuminati that operated as a secret society to spread enlightenment ideals in like the 18th century , I'm talking about the Illuminati of paranoid Alex Jones fantasies that are turning the freaking frogs gay. No, my grandfather died when I was five from cancer, it was other people who asked him the question and he didn't tell nobody jack about the Freemasons; it really didn't seem important to him to be honest.

Alex Jones🤦🏼♂️ I stay away from that guy. He’s lied about sooo many things over the years. He’s pretty much a fear-monger and is making money by lying and fear-mongering. He’s a crackpot as far as I’m concerned. Yea he died when you were 5 so I’d say you didn’t really know him that well. See, I mean right there he didn’t tell anyone anything about the Freemasons when they asked him. And if you go look at the thread I made about Freemasonry you’ll see that they swear oaths of secrecy and blood oaths and that they rely on their good works to get them into heaven, so of course they’re going to seem like good people on the outside by doing things for the community and such, but what they believe and hide in their heart is something else completely especially if they are higher than 3rd degree which is when they are told who they actually worship.

I want to know about these 2 illuminates Alright so during the Enlightenment which was the age in Europe where the (Enlightenment) philosophy took hold which was the idea that politics, government, and pretty much everything should be based upon human reason which gave birth to the ideals of both the French and the American Revolution (and the Haitian one but everyone forgets about that revolution), read the American constitution or the French declaration of the rights of man to see what these ideals are as I don't want to elaborate on them here, there was a secret society in Bavaria headed by a guy called Adam Weishaupt that met in secret to discuss the ideals and promote the spread of them with a stated goal to overthrow all monarchies and religious institutions and create a rational state IE one based on enlightenment ideals. Anyways the king of Bavaria wasn't having that so he disbanded the Illuminati and the Illuminati ceased to exist then in there in reality. Then Enlightenment ideals started to catch on across the west, the American and French revolutions happened, soon monarchies were being overthrown or depowered and rumors among monarchs and the aristocracy were that the illuminati was still around working in the shadows to overthrow monarchies and religious institutions and wanted to conquer the world. Anyways, long story short we're in modern times and monarchies across the west are gone and we govern our societies using Enlightenment ideals and it seems to work pretty well so the whole Illuminati myth has warped into the idea that the Illuminati is some evil society that runs the world that depending on who you ask are evil satanic pedophiles, or reptilian shapeshifters from outer space, and every famous person of note is involved in it including George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Queen Elizabeth the second (this one especially is jarring as the real Illuminati was anti monarchy and aristocracy) and they are behind everything. Just type in illuminati on youtube and click any video and you'll see some of the most paranoid bullocks imaginable. And yeah they're turning the frogs gay.

Yes, the French Revolution was screwed up (so was the Haitian one) but they were based on the Enlightenment just like the American one, just taken to a horrifying extreme because of Robespierre and the Jacobins.

This isn’t exactly relevant to the topic, but did you know Thomas Jefferson wrote his own version of the Bible? Taking out of it what he thought was wrong and keeping in it only what he liked?

Yeah, I knew about the Jefferson Bible. Mhmm, his ideas were strongly influenced by enlightenment philosophy. Something to consider. Oh yeah, there was definitely an anti religious tone to a lot of Enlightenment thinkers. The Enlightenment rose mostly out of a reaction to the oppressive society that characterized Europe before hand where people were separated into aristocrats, priests , and peasants. People lived under the tyranny of kings and the catholic church and the common man had very few rights and thus came up with a philosophy that championed democracy, egalitarianism, human rights, and secularism.

Clovis Merovingian on senior member next is elder where you can have have red VIP username if you wish xD Oh thank you, I didn't even notice that actually . Thomas Jefferson was a deist. He thought that God had created the world and just kind of left it to its own devices. The God he's talking about is not the Christian God just some higher being. The reasoning being that there can't be a creation without a creator but that God was not involved in that creation because he couldn't see or experience him with his senses.
