Sometimes. But also sometimes I have a feeling that I was born in different realm in general - I have such feeling after playing such video games as Morrowind. It would be cool to live there.

I feel like I would thrive in the old west in the U.S, I really like that time period, I like the culture, I like the style, I like deserts, I like the total freedom that existed. Every time I watch an old west film or play a video game set in that time I feel very comfortable.
I also would have liked to been in my prime in the 40s and 50s in America. That is the time i like the most. The cars, the clothes, the hair, the music, the movies, how things looked, the way things were. Individual European cultures still had strong presence, greaser culture, James Dean, Elvis, drive ins, friends meeting at local diners, way less dependent on technology, families were more structured, So much about that time is appealing.

I think it is becoming more common for people in the modern day to feel "out of place" since our lifestyles move further and further away from nature and basic living. We are our own enemies and reason for suffering. We don't look through a simple lens anymore, and physically kill ourselves with stress of meaningless standards. I don't believe humans are meant to live like many of us do.

I feel like I would be taking my luck of living in America for granted if I weren't content with the life I already live here. Plus where I live, it's very rural and not much has changed since the pilgrims came to town lool. So I'm around more "grounded" people than a larger city... in my opinion.

For me it's better to be born in the era of Cossacks! I agree!
