So like I heard they wanted to change the 20 dollar bill from Jackson to Tubman. Is this still happening?
Personally, yeah I think Tubman is great because of what she did for her fellow slaves. She didn't have to return but she chose to free them and risked her life many times. So yeah she should be a big figure in history BUT I don't see why Jackson should be removed. Also, I think men should just be on money Shrug

Yes, Tubman should get her face on another bill, but do not remove Jackson from the 20. Andrew Jackson was the most interesting American who ever lived.

CNN MoneyThis seems to be the only relatively recent article. Doesn't sound like it's happening any time soon.

Idk who Tubman is, but we used to have dollar coins with Susan B. Anthony on them, then they made the gold ones with the Native American woman on them. I don’t think they should get rid of Jackson, he was a good president. People blame him for the Trail of Tears(I think it was), but if you get into the details of that incident, you find out that the Native Americans had a lot of internal disagreements and their leaders ended up betraying their own people after the US government gave them $5 million, if I remember right, to move to Oklahoma. Obviously, the money wasn’t used to help move the Native Americans to Oklahoma. Jackson also prevented the 2nd central bank of the US from being established which would have destroyed the economic power of the US at the time. Some would say the federal reserve does today exactly what the 2 central bank would have done back then.
